I caught the midday train to Edinburgh today. The weather won’t be any better up there, but the air will be a bit more breathable, and with any luck I’ll get some peace and quiet to write in.
Sat at the table next to Ian Botham in the dining carriage for lunch. (I had the halibut, not sure what he had…) I didn’t say hello – I’m sure recognisable people are fed up being said hello to.
