If only this news had broke a couple of days later I could hope that it was an April Fool's joke.
Actor Christopher Eccleston has quit as Doctor Who after just one episode of the new series has been screened, the BBC has confirmed.

Bugger.
He was really good in the one episode I've seen so far.

My pick for next to pilot the tardis would be Stephen Fry.
But no one ever listens to me.
